Beloved 3D Platformer ‘Glover’ Being Revived On PC Via Steam Next Month; Wishlisting & Screenshots Available

Publisher Bleem! and developer Piko Interactive LLC have announced that the cult-classic Nintendo 64 3D platformer, Glover, will be receiving a modern release on PC via Steam on April 20, 2022. Throughout this vibrant adventure, players control a magical glove named Glover as it seeks the missing seven crystals that empower the Kingdom it resides in. Several worlds, totaling 30 levels, await veterans and prospective fans with a distinct sense of progression that still manages to differ from the usual platforming fare nowadays.

Moreover, this game port is redone from the original Nintendo 64 version’s source code, providing an enhanced experience fitting current hardware. It is worth noting that the April 20 release date is tentative, with achievements and trading cards seemingly being the final facets needing to be fully implemented prior to the game’s full launch.

Several screenshots for this unexpected re-release have been provided, viewable below:

You can view more information regarding Glover’s PC release as well as a trailer via its Steam store page. In addition, Wishlisting is currently available.

Glover being revived is assuredly dramatically positive news for countless fans since despite this game’s cult-following and relative cultural relevancy thanks to sites like Youtube, a thoroughly modern and accessible avenue for it will establish a whole new slew of fans.
