Over 35 Thousand Vote in Zero Escape Creator’s Poll to Decide if “Snake is a Gay”

Kotaro Uchikoshi is known for his creative and dark adventure visual novel. For years the creator has forced fans to make choices that could end in the deaths of the in-game characters. The thrill of putting players in a tough situation and forcing them to think under pressure is something the Uchikoshi-san seems to enjoy.

However, the creator has returned with yet another game of choice for fans of video games. The choice might be easy for some and without context, even harder for others. Still, he felt it needed to be done.

On February 13, Uchikoshi-san simply tweeted, “Do you think Snake is a gay?”

Over 35 thousand people voted in the poll, which resulted in a 64.9% majority say that “Yes, Snake is gay.” No, not Snake the Metal Gear Solid protagonist, but Snake from the 999 series. However, some might question MGS Snake’s preferences when weighing in on his relationship with the other male leads.

Snake 999 has been a popular pick for gay pairings in the game’s fandom, helped by his rather leading comments he can make provided you investigate the right objects.

The fans of the game have, of course, been eating this poll up, which has lead to all sorts of memes and fan art, which can be, for now, easily found by simply looking up ‘snake gay’ on the social media site.
