2D Action RPG ‘The Vagrant’ Announced for Switch in the West

Rainy Frog announced plans to publish the O.T.K Games-developed 2D action RPG The Vagrant on Nintendo Switch.

The Vagrant on Switch will be fully developed and ported from the PC version of the game. It will also support the French language as an added option. Currently, the publisher didn’t reveal a release date, but they will announce more as new details emerge.

The Vagrant takes players to a world known as Mythrillia. You explore the world as Vivian the Vagrant, who is out to discover more about her bloodline as well as uncover a dark secret. During her efforts to follow her lost father’s research to reunite with her family, she will encounter many obstacles that stand in her way.

Gameplay has players hacking and slashing enemies through various environments. The game is played in a 2D style as players level up to learn new abilities and skills. The game also has players utilize combo chains, charge attacks, and special skills as well as finding new equipment to become stronger.

The characters have each been hand-painted and the game features 6 different levels.
