Sekai Project announced they’ll publish the Chloro-developed surreal visual novel 2236 A.D. Secretary Stories coming to PC in Summer 2021.
2236 A.D. Secretary Stories is a strange follow-up entry to and a prequel to 2236 A.D. The game tells the story of Masuko, the Personal AI Secretary System for Smart Tool (a really awesome smartphone), and her owner, Yotsuba. The narrative takes place on January 1, 2236 AD, as the start of a new year brings hope to those looking forward to a clean slate.
The story is a nonsensical narrative between man and AI that features some heartwarming scenes but has some strange undertones that require the reader to be observant. There’s a mix of emotions in each story beat, but in reality, it’s a story about how cute Masuko is.
We’ll keep you updated on the release of 2236 A.D. Secretary Stories. But, for now, you can check out 2236 A.D., which is currently on Steam and holds a positive review standing with readers. There’s also a demo available for those who wish to play the game before they buy it.
