Spike Chunsoft Shares 2-Day Countdown For AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative; In-Universe Website & Missing Person Reports

Spike Chunsoft has revealed a 2-day countdown related to AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative. On the Sunaiku Foundation website, a fictional organization set within the game’s universe, a series of blog posts can be read, with the latest one detailing two characters; high school student Aine Ichirai and university student Binato Sotobara. They both reside in Saitama Prefecture.

These two individuals and the majority of the previous blog posts correlate to missing person reports. For further example, the president of the corporation, Kagura Iwato, was appointed on April 1, 2022, before going missing around 2.5 weeks later. We highly encourage checking out the Sunaiku Foundation website for yourself to figure out what these reports and characters mean in the grander scheme of events.

The site page housing this video also houses a timer that concludes in roughly two days.

The two new characters filed in missing person reports on the Sunaiku Foundation website blog are viewable below:

AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative shows an event where the right half of a corpse was discovered, but the left half was never found until six years later. However, the body has shown no signs of decay, as though it’s only a day old. New, special agent Mizuki and her AI partner Aiba are tasked to solve the Half Body serial killings. Kotaro Uchikoshi is confirmed to be the Scenario Writer. Hardcore fans can pre-order the game’s Collector’s Edition, which has a bunch of goodies.

AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative is releasing for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and PC on June 24, 2022.
