2.5D Action-Adventure ‘The Devil Within: Satgat’ Reveals New Gameplay Trailer; Free Steam Demo Next Week

Publisher and developer Newcore Games has launched a free demo for their upcoming 2.5D action-adventure The Devil Within: Satgat as part of Steam Next Fest from June 19 through June 26.

Throughout The Devil Within: Satgat, players control a Royal Guard named Kim Rip, contending with the arrival of demons as his own humanity wanes. A mysterious black tower titled the Ebon Sting has also spawned, producing a Crimson Oil that at first brought prosperity before seemingly being the cause of ailing the surrounding population.

Players can anticipate precise platforming and precise combat with an intricate combo system. Various skills are learnable, emphasizing player individuality and choice. Further, the Concentrated Counterattack System is the crux of the action, comprising powerful counterattacks when dodging, parrying, or dashing. The presentation is another highlight, consisting of unique maneuvers with flashy effects.
