13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim’s Japan PS4 Version Will Freely Receive Switch-Exclusive Weapons & English Dub

Atlus and Vanillaware have announced that the Japanese PlayStation 4 version of 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim will receive a free update adding the currently Switch exclusive weapons, making the total 26. Further, as this news applies to the Japanese version, their PlayStation 4 version will also be updated to include the English dub. This aforementioned content will arrive in Japan on August 4, 2022.

Additionally, a new version of the game will be available for purchase on the same previously mentioned date, including the downloadable content, premium theme, and an avatar set.

13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim has players assume the role of 13 different characters, who each play a part in the overarching narrative. Throughout the game, players are able to explore 2D environments and interact with other characters to trigger events. This will inevitably lead to a battle encounter where players can jump into mecha suits and strategically fight against enemy Kaijuu using the game’s real-time battle system.

The narrative is a significant focus for 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. Players will need to be engaged in the conversations as choices have weight to them, and accessing keywords to acquire additional information is necessary. Players will be able to jump between characters during the adventure segments as they gather information. However, if things go too wrong, the day will rewind to make the correct choices.
