Atlus Japan has announced that the Japanese publication 4Gamer is hosting a new survey for fans who have completed 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, with a deadline of October 21, 2022. One of the most significant questions asks how fans would like to see this IP depicted in other mediums, such as anime or manga. These suggestions obviously don’t serve as confirmation, but it’s neat to think that those possibilities are on the horizon.
Moreover, a 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim 3-year anniversary broadcast has been formally announced, though no date has been provided yet. It is worth bringing up that the 2-year anniversary stream revealed the game’s Nintendo Switch port, so there may also be noteworthy news during this broadcast. The two major and somewhat plausible announcements I can see happening are a PC port and a sequel.
Still, it’s best not to expect anything without official statements saying otherwise. The responses to the aforementioned survey will be discussed during this 3-year anniversary broadcast.
You can take the survey via 4Gamer.
13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim has players assume the role of 13 different characters, who each play a part in the overarching narrative. Throughout the game, players are able to explore 2D environments and interact with other characters to trigger events. This will inevitably lead to encounters where players can jump into mecha suits and strategically fight against enemy Kaijuu using the game’s real-time battle system.
The narrative is a significant focus for 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. Players will need to be engaged in the conversations as choices have weight to them, and accessing keywords to acquire additional information is necessary. Further, one will be able to jump between characters during the adventure segments as they gather information. However, if things go too wrong, the day will rewind to make the correct choices.
